Yoga Workshop: Chest and heart-opening

£26.00

Learn techniques to open the chest and heart

Friday 7 February 2025, 9:30-11:30am

@Gladstone’s Library, Hawarden

Learn key techniques to help you open and expand the front body, including the chest and front shoulders, whilst safely looking after your lower back, in this fun, friendly and informative morning yoga workshop.

A Yoga Workshop is a great way to explore, observe and gain a greater awareness of your own body and it’s capabilities.

A chance to ask questions; learn more and gain a deeper understanding of not only some key yoga heart openers.

In this workshop you’ll:

  • Learn how to safely go into and out of an upward-facing dog

  • Learn how to safely find the right up dog posture, for your body type

  • Learn other heart-opening yoga postures and understand what you’re trying to achieve in each

  • Have the opportunity to ask questions throughout

  • Have the opportunity to have your postures checked for safety, taking into account any injuries

This is a great session for regular yogis who want to deepen their understanding and learn to expand into chest-opening yoga postures, allowing you to take this knowledge further into other postures too like Warrior 1 and twists.

You can then put all this into practice in the regular, weekly Tuesday morning Gentle Yoga class, also at Gladstone’s Library in Hawarden, North Wales. Just 20 minutes from Chester.

Regular Tuesday Yoga Class - 9:30am
Come give it a go.

This workshop includes a hot drink in the cafe afterwards and the workshop itself is half price to Strength for Life members. Use your usual code.
