Introducing Strength for Life Member, Phil
Phil started with Pilates in 2017 following medical advice to prevent re-occurrence of a lower back problem. Progressing onto yoga a year later and has kept it up ever since, doing at least 3 evening yoga classes a week with The Good Food Yogi, supplemented with his own sessions to stretch out aching muscles and stiff joints. You’ll often catch Phil online on Zoom for 7:45am 15 minutes of pain! (As he calls it!)
Ashtanga Yoga Chester & North Wales
We don't take ourselves too seriously in our Chester Ashtanga yoga class and carry the ethos that Ashtanga is for everyone, whatever your ability or age. I'll always offer modifications and variations to make every pose accessible. We'll throw in a few challenges here and there that take us out of our comfort zone too. In class I can help individuals with their different needs and challenges, providing targets or a focus to ensure everyone feels like they're progressing, despite doing the same routine each week.
